Practitioner training with Transcend
What can our own experience bring to the way we accompany others?
We are preparing a residential training for practitioners with Transcend in Portugal. Preparation, direct experience and integration provide a basis for reflection on professional practice.
Preparation, direct experience and integration form the thread of the training. The invitation is to explore how we meet our own experience, and what this reveals about being present with another person. Reflection will connect what is lived in the group with the responsibilities and questions of professional accompaniment.
The emphasis is on experiential learning and thoughtful reflection on practice. The detailed teaching sequence is being developed with the team.
A group preparation call is planned to begin the shared work.
Arrival and the start of the residential programme at Tojeira.
Five working days connecting preparation, experiential work and integration with professional practice.

The planned venue is a restored farmhouse in Mondrões, near Vila Real. Its nine hectares include woodland, agricultural fields and a vegetable garden. This setting offers space to step outside between sessions and spend time away from everyday demands.
